Hope out of Despair Initiative
Hope out of Despair Initiative is a community based organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. We support the work of local community organizations nationally through the placement of local and international volunteers. The organization recruits both national and international volunteers on both short and medium term placements. Volunteers are vital to share and exchange knowledge and development ideas on a wide range of development issues.

Our mission is to support the work of local community development organizations in Kenya through the placement of international volunteers. We put volunteers in direct touch with local community to share skills, promote international understanding and actions, and change lives to make our country Kenya a better place for all. We appreciate the diverse talent and skills each international volunteer is endowed with and we want those who can offer such service as volunteer to come to Kenya and make a difference in the lives of under privileged.
