HopeFamilyResources

Organization Description:

Hope Family Resources strengthens the well-being of lay people (adults, youth, couples, groups) and religious professionals (religious communities, churches) with faith and reason by: 1) Helping them in our counseling care and learning centers with problem evaluation and counseling care for their personal and/or family concerns; 2) Forming effective pastoral and family counselors through unique professional study and training programs for interns and externs; and 3) Reaching out with distance counseling and the best learning tools (video, audio and print) for self-help or professional instruction. Those we serve come from all denominations, ethnic backgrounds and cultures; and, at the same time, we have a unique outreach to positively affect, help, and supplement the ministry of churches and religious communities in various ways (given their special needs and requirements). Hope Family Resources was founded in New York City in1985, and operates throughout the week from the late morning into the early evening.
