Horizons for Homeless Children
Horizons for Homeless Children's Playspace Program installs trauma informed and developmentally appropriate Playspaces in family homeless shelters in Massachusetts. The recruit, train and manage volunteers who commit to providing a healing play opportunity for six months in a weekly 2 hour shift. These weekly Playspace experience help children learn, play and thrive and allows their parents to meet with case managers and attend on sight classes.
Horizons for Homeless Children improves the lives of young children experiencing homelessness and their Families through early education, opportunities for play and family support services.
