Hospice of the Southwest

Organization Description:

About Us

Hospice of the Southwest was founded by two active firefighters with a combined service of over forty-three years. They wanted to provide a way of comforting and providing additional care to individuals and families they have witnessed and continue to witness dying alone or with little relief from pain and suffering.

Hospice is that unique and often unused resource and benefit that is available to individuals and families who are in the life limiting stage of life. A staff with over one hundred and ten years of combined hospice experience started Hospice of the Southwest. They believe and are dedicated to a team oriented approach they have learned over the years to bring comfort and care to individuals. This approach involves the wishes and desires of the patient, their families and loved ones.
