Mission Statement:

Gifts Ordained by Direction is an outreach ministry of THE HOUSE OF PRAYER - AN ARRMED DIAMEN whose mission is to equip Christian leaders with tools for abundant living.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

GCU believes the scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are inspired by God; they are the revelation of God to man; the infallible, and the authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

GCU believes in the Eternal Godhead, who has been revealed as One God existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; co-eternal, co-equal; distinguishable but indivisible. (John 1:1, Matthew 28:19)

GCU believes in the creation and fall of mankind. We believe in mankind’s total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness, and therefore needs the Divine for Righteousness. (Romans 5:12-21)

GCU believes Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. We believe he died on the cross, was buried, and on the third day was bodily resurrected. We believe He personally appeared to the disciples and bodily ascended into heaven at the right hand of His Father. (Matthew 1:18-25; Isaiah 7:14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Romans 4:24-25)

We believe in salvation by grace through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of Jesus Christ at the cross of Calvary. (Ephesians 2:8-10; Hebrews 9:11-12, 22; Romans. 5:21, Romans 10:9-10, Acts 4:-12)

GCU believes the purposes of the Church are as follows: a corporate body in which man may worship God, a channel of God’s purposes in the earth and an organism for training and equipping the Body of Christ for evangelism, service, and other works of ministry. (1Corinthians 12:13; 27-28, Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-18; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 3:6, 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 14:12)

We believe in the present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit, including the indwelling, inner workings and baptism of His person in the believer. We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith. We believe in the multiplicity of spiritual gifts and supernatural signs that follow those who believe. Some of which include: word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, various kinds of tongues and their interpretation. (2 Corinthians 7:1; Acts 4:30; Romans 12:1-2; Romans 8:11-14; Hebrews 2:3-4; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 3:1-10, 1 Corinthians 12-14)

GCU believes in the resurrection of believers into everlasting life and blessing in Heaven and the resurrection of unbelievers into everlasting punishment in the torments of Hell. (John 3:16; John 5:24; Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:9-10; Revelation 20:10-15; John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

We believe in the personal, literal and bodily return of Jesus Christ in power and glory as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27, 30; Revelation 1:7; Revelation 19:11-14; Revelation 20:1-6)
