Organization Description: 

Humanity Plight is a Community Based Organization. It commenced its operations informally in 1998 as a community initiative geared towards addressing social ills that bedevil the society, especially child abuse and the marginalization of the girl child and women living with HIV/AIDS.

The Organization was formerly registered by the Government of Kenya, as a community based charity organization in 2006.Over the years, it has experienced an exponential growth in service delivery capacity and effectiveness, with various successful projects geared towards alleviating human rights abuse, the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS, ill-health, poverty, illiteracy, bad governance and environmental degradation problems among the Poor and Marginalized African Grassroots Communities.
HPCBO is a hub for Grassroots Empowerment and Community Based Development Initiatives.

Mission Statement: 

To Mitigate the effects of poverty, disease, illiteracy, bad governance, disasters, human rights abuse and environmental degradation, on the human race at grass roots level and against all odds, restore its decorum.

We accomplish this mission by implementing various community based programs addressing challenges faced by Children and Youth, Women and the Girl Child, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, People Living with Aids (PLWAS) especially Women and Impoverished Marginalized Grassroots Communities in Africa.

We strictly adhere to the principles of democracy, equity and non-discrimination.

Organizational Statement of Faith: 

We believe in the Holy Trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.We believe in Salvation through repentance and accepting Jesus Christ the Son of God as Lord and Saviour and baptism of the Holy Spirit.We believe in the great commission,preaching the gospel to the world.

We serve humanity with absolute fairness and equality, compassion and respect, honesty and accountability , irrespective of religion, tribe, color or race.
