Imani Agape Voice of Hope

Organization Description:

Founded in 2005, Imani Agape Children's Home was built in direct response to the rising number of HIV infected and affected children born in Africa every day. The hardest hit by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa are the middle aged mothers and fathers, who are primary caregivers for the elderly and young. As a result, there has been an explosion in the number of orphans in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as elderly who are left destitute when their wage earner/caretaker die.

To counteract these forces, which are forecasted to destabilise African Society, Pastor Liston conceived the Imani Agape Children's Home, recognising the HIV/AIDS and non AIDS orphans in Kenya.
Imani Agape receives no government support and relies on the generosity of others. We would like to welcome friends/visitors from all corners of the world to come to spend a some time playing with children. You may even bring food, decorations or gifts, and maybe even adopt some of the children if it?s something you?re serious about doing.
Without the goodwill of our friends, there would be no Imani Agape Children's Home, and it would remain a dream.
