Impacting Hearts
Impacting Hearts is committed to enhancing the quality of the lives of children and families by providing them with love, support, education, and mentorship through real relationships that give individuals the tools necessary to succeed! ELF is an entirely volunteer managed and operated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We partner with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and your local communities, schools, and churches to serve and empower youth through love, hope, education, empowerment, and faith.
Los Angeles County has the highest percentage of foster children across the nation with over 19,000. The majority of the youth in the Countys care have been bounced around from one home to another. By the time they are emancipated at age 18-19, they have been in 17-22 different foster homes. A third of these kids are in jail/prison within the first year they are emancipated and another third end up homeless. Only one percent of these kids go to college.
We are committed to being involved in their lives. They dont care what we say or what we know until they know we care.

At Impacting Hearts, we believe believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and the sins of the whole world, and in 3 days, rose again! We believe that by faith in Christ we are saved! We believe in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit! We eagerly and humbly reach out in love to all as we serve God by serving others.
