Institute of Grace
The Institute does many great projects around the Washington DC area, as well as in Port-Au-Prince Haiti. It's latest project is the building of a health clinic and primary school in the community of Merger, Haiti. Merger is home to approximately 100,000 people, 80% of whom are under the age of 24. The Institute school and clinic will be the first of its kind in the Merger area. Currently the people are having to travel to cities about 1 hour away in order to attend school, or see a doctor. The addition of the clinic, and primary school is imperative in this community to ensure quality of life, and hope for the future of Merger!
The Institute is committed to helping the people of Haiti by bringing them hope and a brighter future through education and charity. The Institute is a non-denominational organization with the goal to serve God by serving others, and spreading the "good news" through positive actions and community involvement.
Institute of Grace, Merger campus is dedicated to providing service to the people of Merger and Haiti at large based on the deep passion, care, and understanding that we have been shown through our Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not believe in drawing denominational lines, but in serving as we have have been served, and as we have been taught to serve.
