The Conlons purchased 13 acres of land in 1982 near San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico for the purpose of establishing an inter-denominational Christian Community which would work together in different areas of life toward the establishment of the Kingdom of God in this region and this nation effecting change socially, politically, and culturally.
Jesus said that the world would believe that the father had sent Him by seeing Him in us. Thus, we attempt to show Jesus Christ to those around us, through what Peter called in 1 Peter 2:5 "spiritual sacrifices." In the same passage Peter says we are called to be a holy priesthood, which means that we are to have a burden for all those who surround us, especially those who are in darkness.
