Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Organization Description:

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is a private, nonprofit, hunger relief organization --- a nontraditional food bank. We recover perishable food from over 200 area donors. We are a member of Operation Frontline wherein we teach low-income families how to shop and eat healthfully. We run a Farms and Community Gardens program where we grow and teach others to grow local and fresh produce. We service over 200 local agencies which then serve the hungry, the homeless, the elderly, after school programs for kids and low-income, working, yet food-insecure families.
