Iowa KidsNet

Organization Description:

Established in January of 2007, Iowa KidsNet works to create safe, permanent connections between children and families through foster care, adoption and reunification with birth families. Iowa is fortunate to have many wonderful foster families who provide support and nurturing in times of crisis. However, Iowa currently has more children in foster care than we have families to provide them a safe home.

Many children in foster care have had an unhappy past. But with love, commitment and support, these kids can have a happier future. We have an urgent responsibility to these future generations of Iowans to make sure they have a chance to succeed in life.

Iowa KidsNet is charged with recruiting, training, and supporting Iowa's foster and adoptive parents.
