Organization Description:
Jawabu Africa is a non-profit organization that aims to serve, train and equip at-risk young people, ages 14-20, in marginalized communities of Kenya. Jawabu is a Swahili word meaning ?the answer.? Jawabu Africa exists to provide solutions to the spiritual, physical and mental problems that are facing young people in Kenyan communities today. We strive to build on the solid foundation of the Word of God and challenge the youth by the love of Jesus Christ. The goal of Jawabu Africa, above all else, is to introduce the young people to Jesus Christ, who is ?The Answer.? Jawabu Africa focuses on equipping young people through training, counseling and mentoring so that they can take active roles in serving their communities with love.
