The Johnson Intern Program
The Johnson Intern Program has been in operation since 2000, giving recent college graduates (ages 21-30) the opportunity to live and work with the intention that life deserves. Starting each September and running ten months, interns work 4 days each week in our partner organizations, learning the meaning of service and developing necessary skills. Our Fridays our training includes leadership development in the servant-leader model and the practice of leadership skills including project design and implementation, fundraising, communications, and conflict management.
We provide housing, food, utilities, phone, internet, monthly stipend, leadership training, and opportunity for spiritual formation and vocational discernment. Most positions are eligible for an AmeriCorps half-time education award.
Interns in our program explore the inward, spiritual journey that leads outward, to compassion and service. For more information visit http://johnsoninternship.org. You may email johnson.intern@gmail.com, or call 919 929-2193.
The Johnson Intern Program blends social ministry, spiritual formation, leadership development, and intentional community living into a year that enables young adults (21-30) to explore their call in a context of servant-leadership.
