JVC Northwest

Organization Description:

JVC: NW volunteers work in agencies serving children, women and men who often are invisible and live on the margins of our society, including those experiencing abuse, homelessness, poverty, hunger and disabilities. They also serve in positions working for environmental concerns and ecological sustainability, as well as advocacy for social justice. Volunteers experience the rugged beauty of the Northwest region while living and working in urban centers, rural communities as well as Native American and Native Alaskan communities.
