Lakeshore Area Regional Recovery of Indiana
For hundreds of families in Lake, Porter and LaPorte Counties in Northwest Indiana, the devastating effects of the floods in September 2008, caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ike, continue to be the every day reality with which they live.

Lakeshore Area Regional Recovery of Indiana, better known as LARRI, is a long-term recovery committee formed to assist the survivors of the floods restore their homes to a safe, sanitary and secure standard.

There are still hundreds of homes in dire need of restoration. New cases come to our attention almost every day.

Volunteers of all skill levels are needed to help restore homes to a livable condition. We are in need of construction materials, tools, and housing for volunteer teams.
