For The Least Edmonton

Organization Description:

We meet at 7pm on Saturday nights. We prepare lunches and hot chocolate, and load the lunches along with clothing supplies and Bibles into backpacks. We are usually on the streets from 10pm until midnight, making it a 5 hour time commitment once per week. We walk around in groups of 3 downtown, parking near the Hope Mission, speaking with and offering supplies, care, and hope to anyone we come across. Please call or email if you would like to join us!

Mission Statement:

We are a group of young adults who passionately love Jesus and desire to make His hope known through building long lasting relationships with the disadvantaged on the streets of Edmonton. We believe this is accomplished through humility and gentleness free from discrimination. We desire a strong and unified internal community that serves and raises awareness.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

"Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ "

Matthew 25:37-40
