Lifted-Up Outreach
Lifted-Up Outreach is the outreach ministry of the Word of God Christian Ministry International to the homeless. We do not provide free handouts to the homeless, but rather, we attempt to provide temporary job opportunities such as thrift stores. The program is still in its startup phase and does not at this time actually operate any locations. Volunteers solicit and obtain donations ( money would be nice, but we are speaking of saleable items) and operate fund raising yard sales, or bring the donations to our current location for resale. Once funds become available, Lifted-Up will purchase or lease a building to open our first store.
It is our mission to reach out to the homeless by providing work opportunities for them by operating various not-for-profit business entities dedicated solely to producing a paycheck for its homeless employees.
