The Lighthouse Project
The mission of the Lighthouse Project is to foster hope, spiritual renewal, and a commitment to community through personal and family counseling to improve life skills, enhance self-esteem, and encourage cooperation among all people. The Lighthouse Project is an ecumenical ministry representing all faiths and beliefs that is dedicated to reducing the physical and psychological violence occurring in our homes and community. It is our hope that every church, synagogue, and mosque is a lighthouse for the community.
Vision Statement: The Lighthouse Project, in collaboration with faith groups, businesses, schools, community organizations, and law enforcement agencies, will assist both adults and youths to improve their life-skills. They will develop respect and confidence, and be encouraged to cooperate and work with all people, through programs that foster spiritual renewal, hope, and a commitment to community.
