Literacy Plus

Organization Description: 

The Literacy Plus program provides one-to-one tutoring to adults in reading, writing, spelling and basic math, small group classes, computer-assisted learning, regular learner reassessments, and tutoring skills workshops. We also provide services to children and families, including our Families For Literacy Program, providing monthly story times plus free books and quality children's magazines to children of our adult learners, and the Early Learning for Families Program, providing a several weekly story time/play groups for parents with children under the age of 5.
