Literacy Volunteers of Harrison County, Inc. (LVHC)
Providing free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring and homework help to promote and foster increased literacy.
LVHC offers tutoring in:
• (Adults) basic reading, writing and math skills
• Basic computer literacy
• English as Second Language (ESL)
• Tutoring for GED® students attending Adult Basic Education classes
• Clarksburg Homework Help (grades k-12 and GED students) Mondays and Thursdays, 6-7:30 PM, Clarksburg Library, 2nd floor. Free walk-in program
• Salem Homework Help (grades k-12) Wednesdays 3:30-4:30 at the old Van Horn Elementary School. Free, walk-in program
Tutoring will be held in a public place, usually the city library or the LVHC office.
LVHC services and tutor training are cost free.
