Livada Orphan Care
Livada Orphan Care has a holistic approach to orphan care by blending Christian ministry with social work, humanitarian aid, and residential care. Half of our ministry is now focused on raising the children and teenagers that reside in our full time care in group homes and mentor apartments. The other half of our ministry is devoted to sharing the Good News with kids who live in state care in Romania. We run weekly ministry clubs to those kids and Christian summer camps at our camp facility. Our hub of ministry is Targu Mures and we run clubs all over Mures county, Romania. Our website can give you more details at www.livada.org.
Romania
To glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by ministering to orphan children in Romania.
We believe the Bible to be the fully inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ.
We believe that the new birth of the believer comes only through faith in Christ and that repentance is a vital part of believing, and is in no way, in itself, a separate and independent condition of salvation: nor are any other acts, such as confession, baptism, prayer, or faithful service, to be added to believing as a condition of salvation.
We believe that it is the privilege for all who are born again by the Spirit through faith in Christ as revealed in Scripture, to be assured of their salvation from the very day they take Him to be their Savior.
We believe that true believers everywhere, once saved shall be kept saved forever and that God, who cannot overlook the sin of His children, chastens us in His infinite love.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling and filling enables the Christian to live a godly life and minister to others with divine power. We believe that Christians are free from law and that the Christian life is to be lived by God’s grace, through the Holy Spirit’s power.
We believe in the bodily resurrection and judgment of all men. Believers will be resurrected to enjoy eternal life with God, and unbelievers will be resurrected to suffer eternal judgment and separation from God.
We believe all who are united to the risen and ascended Son of God are members of Christ’s invisible and universal church. We also believe that the local expressions of the body of Christ are essential in the plan and purpose of God.
We believe the primary responsibility of all who are saved is to work toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission. All worldly and personal ambitions should be subordinated to that supreme command of making disciples. We believe that human betterment and social justice are essential products of the Gospel.
