LIVE Project
STAR INC. focuses on:
assisting and encouraging individuals to achieve thier goals,
respecting client's dignity, privacy and achievements,
acknowledge and work with existing support structures
supporting people to experience an inclusive lifestyle of their choice. According to this focus - The LIVE Project utilises volunteers to provide social support to people so that they can participate in their community or gain some free time from caring activities.

To work with and advocate for individuals who require assistance to achieve a community based lifestyle. this will be undertaken by the provision of a teaching program and resources that meet the specific needs of each individual. This is based on the belief that the community has the responsbility to ensure that every individual has the greatest possible choice of lifestyle and life path. (We beleive that this responsbility can NOT be compromised on the grounds of a person's abilities).
The LIVE Project supplements this by providing social support and respite support through volunteers to people who are living in the community and are isolated.
