Living Scriptures
We are currently seeking funding to establish the residential program, drop in center and worship center. In the meantime, we are doing what we can with the resources we have. We sponsor a "picnic in the park" every Sunday, playing sports, having good fellowship and mealtime. Although the picnics are geared toward the less advantaged, all are welcome.
We also help those that need resource information, gathering of birth certificates, ID cards, etc.
We are a faith-based outreach ministry geared toward helping those dealing with life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. We are seeking to establish a christian recovery center for those seeking to overcome alcohol and drug addiction and to offer short term shelter for the homeless.
We will also be establishing a "drop-in" center where we can offer networking and resources to those seeking employment and a hand-up, not a hand-out...so they can return to a productive lifestyle within their community.
Lastly, we will establish a worship center where all are welcome to worship the Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and in truth.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God...that he died for our sins and rose again. It is through the shedding of His blood that are sins are forgiven. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
