Logos Christian Academy

Organization Description:

Logos Christian Academy is a K-8 private Christian School, desiring to serve the children, parents and community of Casa Grande and the surrounding area with an educational system based upon a strong Christian worldview.

Logos Christian Academy holds to a Statement of Faith based upon the primary tenets of historical Christianity, leaving room for personal interpretation of practice and church government.

Logos Christian Academy is governed by an independent board made up of ministers, staff and members of local evangelical churches with an effort to represent the full spectrum of our entire Christian community.

Logos Christian Academy believes that the Bible is much more than a subject to be studied. It is the lens through which the student shall gain a perspective on all aspects of life. Scripture and scriptural principles are integrated into every aspect of the student's education from kindergarten through high school.

Logos Christian Academy will have an emphasis on cultivating wisdom rather than just teaching facts and skills; developing a love of discovery and learning will be a primary objective in all the instruction.

Logos Christian Academy utilizes classical teaching methods in subjects such as Language Arts, History, Science, Math, Theology, Philosophy, Art, Music and Physical Education: partnered with Logic, Rhetoric, Latin and classic literature in a manner based upon the developmental stages of the student. The curriculum develops an awareness of and appreciation for the heritage of western civilization.

Logos Christian Academy through the use of time-tested methodologies, will equip students to read critically, express themselves effectively in writing and speech, and to reason acutely as they develop a broad knowledge base across the traditional academic disciplines.

Logos Christian Academy is committed to providing the kind of Christian education and environment that would assist Christian families in fulfilling their obligation to rear children in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord." The admissions policies and procedures are designed to identify the families who are in agreement with our Vision and Mission Statements and our Statement of Faith.

Logos Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Mission Statement:

The mission of Logos Christian Academy is to develop in its students a Biblical worldview, raising up strong Godly leaders who will glorify Him. At Logos Christian Academy, qualified Christian staff teach the students to think critically, reason clearly, and communicate effectively the inerrant and authoritative Word of God as it applies in all areas of life. As an extension of the home and church, Logos Christian Academy teaches children to truly know and love the Lord. Isaiah 61:3b Isaiah 66:2 Deuteronomy 11:18-22

Organizational Statement of Faith:

We believe the Bible alone to be the word of God, the ultimate and infallible authority for faith and practice.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone.
We believe that faith without works is dead.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
