Derrick L. Hicks is the founding Pastor of Love in Action Church where the good news of God?s love and provision is preached with the confidence that the revelation of this love will fuel our faith and cast out fear.

Mission
1. Show the love of God our Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and the Holy Spirit our Helper to the world through Biblical teaching and action.
2. Communicate to the believer that proper teaching produces proper action.
3. Encourage the believer to put their faith and love into action by sharing the Love of God with others through Word and example which includes:
Evangelizing the lost
Healing the sick
Feeding the hungry
Clothing the naked
Sheltering the homeless
4. Provide a Practical and Spiritual education for the believer in the following areas to equip them for the work of ministry:
1. How you can know that you are Saved (guaranteed entrance into the kingdom of God immediately and into Heaven after death).
2. How to have exceedingly growing faith through an understanding of faith fundamentals and God's Love Gifts that energize faith.
3. Understanding the grace of God and the gift of righteousness that empowers the believer to reign in life as a King. (Romans 5:17 Amplified.)
4. How to become intimate with the knowledge of our sonship in God and partnership with God to accomplish His mission in the earth.
