Love IN the Name of Christ Northeast San Gabriel Valley
Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) brings Christian churches together, across denominational lines, to help the poor by meeting immediate needs such as food and clothing, to longer-term responses through relational ministries such as life skills training and transitional housing.
Love INC is a Christian ministry that networks Christian churches from at least six different denominations to work together. We helps churches organize their volunteers to be available to serve when needed. Love INC builds relationships with community agencies. Love INC operates a Clearinghouse where intake staff and volunteers screen requests for help as to their nature, extent, and legitimacy. Love INC connects people in need with agencies, church ministries, and church volunteers to meet those needs. Love INC depends on church volunteer involvement. Love INC helps increase the capacity of churches by assessing community needs and creating new ministry opportunities to meet those needs. And finally Love INC brings a clear vision of how God can use the mobilized Church to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ.
