Macedonia Community Development Corporation
The Macedonia Community Development Corporation (MCDC) is a faith-based grassroots nonprofit 501 (c) 3 (TIN # 26-0012019-5) organization incorporated in January of 2002. Our service area includes Greater San Antonio with special emphasis on Southwest San Antonio.
We are an emerging non-profit experiencing continued and steady growth as we develop and offer programs that promote family strengthening and wellness. Our target clients are usually low and moderate-income families in underserved areas that unfortunately fall into the vulnerable category.
Our mission is to "strengthen families and neighborhoods by serving as a catalyst and instrument for positive change through community organization and development, health and wellness initiatives, economic empowerment and training, and affordable housing development."
The Lord Jesus Christ, God's son, redeems us through His death and resurrection and empowers us by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God's infallible Word and through it we are called to live out justice, reconciliation, and redemption. The church nurtures God's people gathered in a community to carry out God's Word.
