Malteser International Americas
Malteser International Americas was founded in 2008 with a dedicated focus on supporting humanitarian projects in the Latin American and Caribbean region. As an affiliate of Malteser International, the humanitarian relief agency of the Order of Malta, our mission is to help our global brothers and sisters lead a healthy, dignified life. For nearly 60 years, Malteser International has been standing by those affected by poverty, disease, conflict and disaster, helping them to rebuild and recover in their greatest time of need. With over 100 projects annually in some 25 countries worldwide, we provide emergency relief after disasters and support recovery efforts, bridging the gap between humanitarian aid and sustainable development.

Our philanthropic mission mirrors that of the Sovereign Order of Malta which is to serve the poor and the sick representing the Lord. Our work is guided by Christian values and based on the humanitarian principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality.
