Organization Description:

Outreach, Inc. is a Christian ministry in Indianapolis reaching out to homeless and at-risk young adults with the compassion of Jesus Christ. Outreach accomplishes this by providing street outreach, a youth drop-in center, holistic social services, emergency/referral services and case management; operated in an environment of God's love. We are dedicated to introducing the youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ and helping them to mature in that relationship. Outreach comes along side the church in helping it understand and fulfill the 'Great Commission' on a local level by training, equipping and supporting the body of Christ and community to minister to this population, empowering the youth to exit the street life.

Outreach helps homeless youth with physical, spiritual and emotional needs. We see those needs as being intertwined, one dependent upon another. We serve any youth that needs our help, regardless of their religious beliefs or physical and emotional condition. Our goal is for our homeless youth to become happy, productive members of society.

We encourage you to visit the rest of our website, so see the progress our youth are making and the programs we have that help them succeed.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the Universe, the co-eternal Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ, God's Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. He died on the cross, removing our guilt and reconciling us to God. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven where He is the only mediator between God and man.
We believe that all scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, training in righteousness, that the believer may be adequate, and equipped for every good work.
We believe all people are made in the image of God, yet are sinners and incapable of returning to God apart from grace. Salvation is through faith in Christ alone.
We believe in one holy, universal and apostolic church, which is called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, promote righteousness and justice, and relive human need.
We believe the Holy Spirit persuades us to repent of our sins, renews our hearts, and causes the church and its people to grow in Christian maturity.
We believe that Christ will return to raise the dead, judge all people and establish His glorious Kingdom.
