MERCY GATE CHAMPION CHILDRENS HOME

Organization Description:

Welcome to Mecry Gate champion Children's Home

Mecry Gate champion Children's Home is an orphanage in Kenya, Africa. Our Mission is to help and support HIV/AIDS and non AIDS orphans in Kenya. We also aim to educate the youth and the community on HIV/AIDS, for it has caused a lot of deaths in the African countries. We want to find a way of reducing the number of people dying out from the HIV virus, as the numbers of AIDS orphans is increasing.

We are looking for people to come over and volunteer to help us for what ever number of weeks you can give. Other ways to help us are to either simply donate or to sponsor a child. You can keep in touch with a sponsored child with letters and our online chat room that has been set up for us for this purpose.

Mission Statement:

OUR MISSION

To be and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, witnessing, loving and serving from our doorsteps "to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

During this time of year, many of us make resolutions. Promises to ourselves (and sometimes to others) for a new and improved version in the New Year. But statistics tell us that only 50% of those resolutions survive 30 days. And only 20% make it through the end of the year. This doesn't sound very optimistic huh?

But not all resolutions are created equal. Some resolutions stand a better chance from the start. Are you serious about making a few changes in ?2006? Here are some suggestions that will help make that kinder, gentler new you a reality!
