Metropolitan Tenants Organization

Organization Description:

MTO operates a tenant rights hotline, organizes tenants in buildings and across common tenant issues, and runs a Healthy Homes program to prevent children from lead-based paint poisoning. On our tenants rights hotline we counsel tenants on an array of issues including tenants that have been locked out of their apartments, tenants whose buildings are in foreclosure, and tenants who have major repair issues and even utilities shut off. We work in the City of Chicago and throughout the entire county of Cook.
