Organization Description:
The Mission Homeless Shelters are run by formerly and presently homeless staff. The Mission is proud of their 90% success rate. During 2009, we helped over 200 homeless men, women, and children...35 were Veterans. We feed over 500 per month..
Our Mountain Bike patrols through Operation Mercy call have reached those who have never been reached before.We ride through the woods and swamps in several counties.Unfortunately a dead body was found on our rounds.At least we were able to see him get a proper burial.
In 2010 , our goals are to start our hydroponic and aquaponic gardens.Our Angels on Wheels , and several other innovative programs.Our goal is to end rural homelessness around America.
