UNITED PRAYER
* Pastors praying together and seeking God for the city.
* Business leaders praying together and seeking God for the city.
* Uniting in regular city-reaching prayer & worship (concerts of prayer, prayer vigils.)
* Annual Prayer Summits.
* Houses of Prayer throughout the city - with neighbors networked and equipped for prayer and witness in their neighborhoods.
UNITED PEOPLE
Trusting and growing together through shared discipleship & training:
* Our best teachers offer their best teaching to the whole network.
* Financial health, evangelism, physical health, parenting and marriage enrichment are examples.
UNITED PROJECTS
* Loving the church and lost people through practical, do-something, build-something, start-something, give-something, mission-minded demonstrations of Christ’s love and character to love our communities to Christ.
* Targeted evangelistic outreaches offer the ultimate gift of a personal relationship with Christ to all people groups in our community.
Missional congregations in the central Kansas region uniting for the harvest, so that it can be said on the street: “the Church is the best thing that ever happened to this city.” To reach that goal, we want to be united in three primary areas: PRAYER, PEOPLE & PROJECTS.
The Missional Church Network ascribes to The Lausanne Covenant, crafted by the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization and agreed upon by more than 2,300 evangelicals in 1974. The covenant provides a Biblical theology for cooperative evangelization and has challenged churches and organizations to work together to make Christ known throughout the world.
