Organization Description: 

We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and take this opportunity to introduce to you Mityana Uganda Charity, a Christian based Charitable Organization established in 1995 and registered in Uganda in 2008, to positively Change Lives and Transform communities through provision of Prison and Legal Aid services, Education sponsorships, Modern Farming Techniques, Water and sanitation and Health Systems Strengthening.

The organization is supported by its mother Charity (Mityana Charity) the United Kingdom - workingham, which has facilitated the successful implementation of a number of community development programmes which include among others; financing the drilling of Boreholes in Mubende, Kiboga and Kyankwanzi districts, provided over 35 plastic tanks in different Prisons, Health centres and Schools in the region, construction of Health Centers as well as provision of numerous medical equipments to different health centers in Mityana Diocese, free education to over 400 students at different levels, and managing of a 100 acre modern coffee farm to provide modern farming techniques to rural coffee growers.

The organization currently has over 30 staff that support the implementation of the above projects. It's located in Mityana town 75 Kms about 1hrs 7mins from Kampala the Capital city of Uganda.
