Montgomery Housing Partnership (MHP)
MHP is a private, nonprofit housing development organization based in Silver Spring, Maryland. It is the largest nonprofit housing developer in Montgomery County, and has developed more than 1,100 units of affordable apartments, condos and townhomes.

Formed in 1989 to meet Montgomery CountyÂ’s growing need for affordable housing, MHP develops, acquires, rehabilitates and builds quality apartments and homes for low- and moderate-income families.
MHP has preserved and developed more than 1,100 units of affordable housing, located primarily in Silver Spring, Takoma Park, Rockville and Wheaton. The nonprofit's holistic approach to housing includes providing affordable rents, developing educational programs for residents to expand their opportunities and balance their lives, and implementing neighborhood revitalization efforts in troubled communities impacted by foreclosures and the downturn in the economy.
