Movement for the Promotion of Gender Equality in Liberia (MOPGEL)

Organization Description:

MOPGEL was establishment is rooted from the idea that cultural and traditional practices denied the girl child, women and people with disabilities access to education and training. MOPGEL believes this manner is curtailing their ability to improve livelihoods, literacy and to make a better quality of life for themselves and their families.

To bridge this gap, MOPGEL was formed to empower individuals and communities to overcome inequality, poverty, hunger and disease.
