Prefers to allocate funding to organizations based in the twin cities of St.Paul-Minnesota area. However, the Foundation has a history of giving to organizations based in the following states: New York, New Jersey, Maryland, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Florida. The Foundation has also allocated funding to organizations based in Israel.

All applications must be emailed to contact@nashfoundation.org as an attachment. Though the Foundation will accept faxed applications, sending applications via this method is highly discouraged.
The Foundation will not accept applications that have been sent via postage delivery.
The Foundation will only accept proposals between the dates of April 1 and July 1.
The Foundation will make all funding decisions by the following January.
Will only consider funding requests from 501(c) (3) Not For Profit organizations.
Though Foundation does have a history of funding in other states, this may be due to the historic interest the Foundation had prior in the organization.
Limits grant making efforts to the twin city, St. Paul/Minnesota area.
Will only accept emailed applications for grant funding.
