The National MS Society

Organization Description:

The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society is moving to mobilize the millions of people who want to do something about MS Now! Founded in 1952, the Greater Illinois Chapter (GIC) of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society serves the approximately 20,000 people living with MS and their families within Illinois. The Chapter covers a 73-county territory, starting at the Wisconsin-Illinois border and extending south through the northern and central areas of the state. Our mission is to create a world free of MS by moving MS research forward, educating and supporting those affected by MS, providing information to the general public and medical professionals about the disease, and advocating for policies that would improve the quality of life for people living with MS.
