Organization Description: 

The National Youth Advocate Program, Inc. (NYAP) is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3), community based provider of services for youth involved in the child welfare, juvenile justice and mental health systems. NYAP was founded in 1978 and since its inception the Ohio based organization has successfully implemented programs in eight states including California, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, Illinois, and Indiana. Annually, NYAP serves approximately 4800 children, youth and families through its Care Management, foster care, adoption, counseling, and home-based programs. NYAP has a long standing tradition of unwavering commitment to community based service delivery and family care.
