Neighborhood Homework House

Organization Description: 

Neighborhood Homework House provides a welcoming and fun environment for daily after school tutoring and mentoring in two low income neighborhoods. One hundred forty children from kindergarten through high school receive individualized tutoring and benefit from a variety of year around enrichment programs. Parents of Homework House children participate in educational workshops on topics ranging from parenting, computer literacy, nutrition and English as a Second Language.
