NLF is committed to facilitate the people affected and disabled by leprosy in the community to develop their capacity to find out, take and use opportunities to develop themselves physically, socially, mentally, financially, spiritually through awareness raising, educational, skill development and micro-enterprises activities with available local and external human, physical and financial resources in and outside of the community so that the activities of leprosy control for reduction of leprosy burden in community and prevention of disability and rehabilitation will be run by the community hence the problems of leprosy and stigma will be reduced.
