New Covenant Missions

Organization Description:

Evangelist Bruce Carter is the founder and president of New Covenant Ministries. Bruce was born in 1960 in Midland, Texas. Both of Bruce's great-grandfathers were preachers, but it was in 1985 that Bruce committed his life to Jesus Christ, a significant milestone that he contributes to the grace of God, his mother's prayers and his wife's loving and evangelistic spirit.

From 1983 to 1994, Bruce worked for a nationally known department store and became a prominent leader in the business world. In 1994, Bruce left the corporate world to work for Promise Keepers, planning and organizing the Georgia Promise Keepers conferences.

Bruce's heart has always been with the local church. He first served as head of the Men's Ministry and then Chairman of the Deacon Board at the Landmark Church in Norcross, Georgia. In 1997, he accepted the position as Minister of Evangelism. Bruce served as Executive Pastor/Evangelist for several years and at the present time serves as the senior pastor of Landmark Church.

It was on January 18, 1997, that the Lord gave Bruce a GIFT - "something God wanted to give him since he was a child." It was the same gift given to his great grandfathers - the HEART OF AN EVANGELIST. God's anointing birthed New Covenant Ministries - a ministry dedicated to seek the lost and equip the saints.

Bruce and the NCM team - evangelists, teachers, intercessors, drama participants and supporters - believe strongly in the work of the local church and dedicate their time to serve pastors who seek soul winning and revival. The ministry team serves the needs of the body of Christ, both locally and abroad.

Mission Statement:

Our mission is to carry the love of Jesus Christ to the world in order to share the gospel with the lost, mature and strengthen the body of believers, and equip and encourage God's people to fulfill His divine plan for their life.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

NCM aspires to bring glory to the Father in every endeavor. The desire of our heart is to follow Jesus Christ so that at the end of each day we can say, "We have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave us to do." (John 17:4) Our ministry is built on the following foundations of faith:

THE INERRANCY OF THE BIBLE
The scriptures, which include the Old and New Testaments, are divinely inspired and represent the infallible and authoritative word of God in all matters of faith and conduct.
(2 Tim 3:15-17; 1 Thess 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

BELIEF IN ONE TRUE GOD
There is one eternal God, existent in three persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
(Deut 6:4; Isa 43:10-11; Matt 28:19; Luke 3:22)

JESUS CHRIST IS FULLY GOD AND FULLY MAN
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.
Born of a virgin
(Matt 1:23; Luke 1:31-35)
Lived a Sinless life
(Heb 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Heb 4:15)
Died on the Cross to atone for our sins
(1 Cor 15:3; 2 Cor 5:21)
Bodily rose from the dead
(Acts 1:9; Acts 2:32; Heb 1:3)
Now sits at the right hand of His Father
(Acts 2:33; Heb 10:12)
He will return to earth in power and glory
(Zech 14:5; Matt 24:27; Rev 19:11-14)

SALVATION
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and we are cleansed from sin through repentance and regeneration of the Holy Spirit.
(John 3:3; Luke 24:46-47; Rom. 10:13; Eph 2:8; Titus 2:11-12; Titus 3:5-7; Jn 6:63)

HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit, our abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide, indwells and empowers every believer in Jesus Christ.
(Rom 8:11; Rom 8:26-27; Jn 15:26; Jn 14:16-17; Isa 61: Acts 1:8; 1 Cor 2:10)
