New Lifestyles Transitional House for Women

Organization Description: 

Women making a difference in the lives of women struggling to create a new lifestyle after making so many mistakes in their past. Janice Murray is one of those women who never thought in her wildest dreams that she would be able to come out of living a self-destructive lifestyle. Janice is very passionate about reaching back into the community to empower women with self-destructive behaviors to seek a new lifestyle. Her long-term goal is to open a nonprofit women transitional house for women coming out of prison and treatment programs. She is the founder and CEO of New lifestyles Transitional Housing for women Inc and the New Lifestyles Women Empowerment workshop. The purpose of the house will be to pull women out of less fortunate situations, the therapeutical value of one woman helping another is the key to our organization. She feels who better to reach broken women but a woman that has been broken and made it out on the other side of that brokenness. New Lifestyles women empowerment bi-weekly workshops has designed a concept to assist the women in identifying and healing the major wounds of life, addiction, co-dependency, and the trauma received in the process of living life. The organization focus is not only to assist in finding freedom from additions, but also healing wounds, re-connecting the women with their authentic self at the core of their spiritual being. Janice believes there is strength in numbers. We are a self-motivated community of women given women a hand up not a hand out, our primary goal is to empower women to stand up and empower another woman to do the same. The women empowerment strives for a safe, inclusive, and compassionate environment where differences are valued and values are respected
