Mission Statement:

New Light Educational Services is an educationally-based private company in New Delhi, India. We first opened classes in July 2013, and since that time we have specialized in providing English education to a variety of students from middle-school age to working class individuals bringing hope and opportunities to those who in many cases would have little access to quality education otherwise.

New Light Educational Services is both Indian and American-owned, which gives us the unique advantage of combining the creativity and resources of the West with understanding and effectively applying educational methods that will be both cost-effective, culturally respectful, and indigenously equipped to address the most pressing need of education in India, particularly among those who would otherwise have no access to quality education.

We operate primarily among the Muslim minority sector here in India, with our school located near the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. The students we serve generally are not given adequate chances for good education, particularly because they come to Delhi from impoverished areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal where there is little or no chances of education and therefore they are automatically disadvantaged for college and career prospects in an increasingly competitive global India. New Light Educational Services believes in reaching and equipping these young people in the English that they will need to survive and thrive in todays modern world. To that end, we teach English, because we believe that English is the key that will enable them to be competitive and continue their learning in an increasingly modern Indian society. We bring in teachers from the West that will be uniquely able to give them a quality learning experience in English by exposing them both to the culture of the English language as well as proper techniques for using it.

We teach primarily adult learners an array of learners from middle school students to working people and housewives. These students are grouped into classes based on language level.

Our long-term strategy plan is to use our school in South Delhi as a base through which we will be able to carry educational programs and develop schools in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh.
