Organization Description: 

NKA FOUNDATION is an idea just as much as a non-profit organization. It is an artist initiative founded in 2005 with focus on human capital development through use of the arts at the intersections of life-long education, multidisciplinary and cross-cultural collaborations. Its successful projects involve arts symposium series, and concept arts village project. It continues to foster cross-cultural synergy for tapping local resources for sustainable development through community arts practice and infrastructure in rural sub-Sahara African settings.

Mission Statement: 

Nka Foundation exists for creating relational spaces for arts mission in developing countries, such as in sub-Sahara Africa. The mission of the Foundation is, thus, to build cultural bridges between Africa and the rest of world for human capital development through a focus on the arts.
