The New London Synagogue is a traditional but non-fundamentalist congregation. Our services are orthodox in style and we use the Singers prayer book and Hertz Chumash. We are centrally located in St Johns Wood, NW8 and our synagogue building is a beautiful, much admired Victorian masterpiece. We were established in 1964 as an independent community under the leadership of Rabbi Dr Louis Jacobs. From this synagogue has sprung the Masorti Movement of Great Britain of which we are a proud and active founder-member.
