Novi is directed by its administrative board, active members, and volunteers.
Its organizational fundamentals are defined as below:

Mission
The mission of Novi is to provide tools for a self-sufficient and sustainable West Africa by:

1. Supporting ethical values such as honesty, integrity, and transparency,
2. Modeling social entrepreneurship, organizing and training producers of high-quality, fair trade goods, and promoting economic independence in West Africa,
3. Protecting and preserving the environment and cultural identity of West African communities.

2010 Objectives
1- File forms to establish an Ohio nonprofit status by 02/28/2010, open a bank account, and become tax exempt by 07/15/2010;
2- Set up marketing plan and strategies by 03/15/2010;
3- Recruit 10 advisors, 5 volunteers and members in 2010;
4- Join networks and develop partnerships in Europe, USA and Africa in 2010;
5- Organize 7 artisans throughout Benin in a cooperative and support the sales & marketing of their crafts in the United States by 11/20/2010;
6- Raise $ 5,000 (USD) for the library, and learning-training-seminar center project;
7- Celebrate Arbor Day with elementary school kids in Allada;
8- Organize Computer classes for elementary and middle school students in rural Benin;
9- Implement 4th Annual Allada Christmas Village Project on 12/24 and 12/25/10;
10- Organize Novi’s annual meeting and three days of workshops, followed by a summit on: Entrepreneurial and Ethical Leadership as the new path for the development of Africa.

Long term Objectives
1- Connect, train, and support youth leaders and social entrepreneurs all over Africa;
2- Provide scholarship for 20 kids in rural areas, especially girls;
3- Support 20 artisans throughout West Africa through the sales & marketing of their crafts in the United States by 2020;
4- Achieve French fluency in Benin by 2040;
5- Support literacy through implementation of 10 libraries in rural West Africa by 2040;
6- Implement School Garden Project in 30 schools by 2022;
7- Provide mosquito nets, screen doors, and information to fight malaria and others diseases;
8- Sustain the quality of soils and fight against desertification, by our green city project;
9- Encourage and support every year the good work of 300 school kids through our Christmas Village Project;
10- Promote local healing techniques, best values, foods, clothes, music, and dance.
