Nto Otong Association USA, Inc

Organization Description:

United Human Services Center (UHSC) was established December 16, 2003 as a 501(c) 3 faith organization with four distinct programs: our food pantry, ministry outreach services, transportation, and youth program. Every Tuesday, the UHSC pantry distributes food bags to over 150 families totaling up to approximately 1,000 people. Currently, we are organizing plans to establish an on-farm training center in Kankakee County, Illinois as well as several urban gardens within the New City/Englewood community which will increase residents’ exposure to fresh produce and encourage a healthier, greener Chicago neighborhood.
