Oakridge Camp

Organization Description:

Oakridge primarily functions as a summer camp, hosting 1500-2000 campers from Oklahoma, Texas and surrounding states every summer. We're a non-denominational camp. We host 3-4 camps of our own, in which we provide our own program, throughout the summer. In the fall, winter and spring months, we facilitate a variety of retreats and events.

Our areas of ministry also include a church and a DHS-licensed childcare center in the town of Anadarko.

Mission Statement:

Throughout the year, Oakridge hosts a series of camps, retreats, and reunions. The camps are designed not only for an outrageously fun time, but to share the gospel and to be an opportunity of spiritual growth for America's children and youth. Oakridge also sponsors retreats throughout the year, providing a place to get away and relax in a Christian environment built to facilitate a deeper walk with God.

Organizational Statement of Faith:

God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth, His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, tangible return in power and in glory.

The Holy Spirit.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

Resurrection.
We believe in the resurrection of the body of the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Salvation.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

The Holy Bible.
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

Unity.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.
